Heaven's Door Revelation Double Barrel Whiskey is an exceptional spirit defined by a painstaking, two-step aging process. The whiskey, already aged for six years, is deepened with the addition of alligator charred, new American oak, intensifying its color and infusing it with flavors of dark toasted vanilla. The result is so smooth that the bottling proof was confidently raised to 100.
This 100 proof, 50% ALC./VOL whiskey is a blend of three different whiskeys – two from Tennessee with a traditional bourbon mash bill and a straight rye whiskey. Each whiskey is matured independently in both new oak and freshly dumped bourbon barrels for at least six years. They are then married together and aged for an additional year in virgin, heavily charred, American oak barrels.
Heaven’s Door Revelation Double Barrel Whiskey undergoes the Lincoln County Process of maple charcoal mellowing post-distillation, ensuring a finish that is nothing short of smooth.
This whiskey carries the Certified Kosher mark, reflecting a commitment to quality that goes beyond taste, to cater to a diverse range of whiskey lovers.
CHARACTERISTICS
AGE: At least 6 years
NOSE: Maple with milled grains and a light nuttiness. Dried berries, vanilla custard, and toasted oak.
PALATE: Toasted Caramel, fried dough, dark cherry, Meyer lemon. Dry oak, vanilla bean, dried apricot, crème caramel. Coconut backed by orange oils and cocoa. Warm butterscotch with woody overtones.
